Celebration of Christmas Giving

Twenty Ladies attended the annual Christmas dinner party on December 11th hosted by the Ladies Guild of St. Timothy.  All the ladies brought some kind of wonderful food and an unwrapped toy which went to Christmas House.  Pat Jones gave a great devotional, comparing Christmas "THEN" and "NOW".  During the meal , everyone enjoyed fellowship  and sang Christmas Carols. The evening finished up with the ladies working to assemble 65 cups of "Snowman Soup" for homeless women and children.  Photos of this event are here.

Santa Stocking Community Care Program

Kicked off by Pat Jones last January,  members turned in their Santa Stockings with their monthly contributions on December 11th.  Member donations totaled $586 which will be matched by Thrivent as part of their Community Care Program.  The combined amount of $1172, will go to help needy families in the Community.

These two important social ministry programs provide a chance for the generous members of St Timothy to help needy causes in our community.

On Sunday October 16, St. Timothy celebrated Oktoberfest.  As usual the Bavarian Village Band was present to provide lots of great music to go with a very traditional and plentiful meal.  A great time was had by all.  See some photos of this great event here.

On August 26th members of St Timothy staffed the Snohomish County Lutheran Church's boot at the Evergreen Fair in Monroe.  Pairs of our members met a number of fair goers and offered information on our faith to those who stopped by our booth.  Below is Pastor Flath and his son-in-law John Ovall on duty at the Fair.
