Building Project

Saint Timothy is embarking upon a major new and exciting project to remodel the narthex of the church. Our building committee has put forth a major effort to get this project underway and we look forward to watching our progress on this web site.

Major Milestones of the Building Project at Saint Timothy

June -   The exterior landscaping begins 

May  1st -  Windows are installed See Exterior Progress

April 9th - Elevator installation begins

April 9th -  Interior work begins as the electrical work is started   See Interior work photos

April 5th - The framing is completed, exterior finishing trim is underway

March 27th - The old narthex is demolished

March 26th -  The roofing is started

March 24th -  The Framing is completed and ready for the roofers

March 15th - The walls are erected

February 27th - The Foundation is poured

February 18th - Our Foundation is ready for cement  Photos

February 7th - Demolition Day  See Photos

January -   Groundbreaking Ceremony on January 21st.  See Groundbreaking Photos  

December - Final Permits and Approvals were obtained

November -  LCEF has approved our building loan and funds have been received to allow the construction phase to begin.

October -  The building loan application was completed and submitted to LCEF in St. Louis.

September - Richard Humpal accepts position of Project Manager with Saint Timothy acting as General Contractor.  Mr Humpal has over 30 year of contractor experience and is a Saint Timothy Elders.

August - Contractor bid reviewed

July - Contractor Bids requested

2006 June - Building permit approved 

2006 - Building permit application filed

2004 - Design approved

2004 - Project approved by voters
